I'm a bass fisherman by heart, but I have some clients that want to do some catfishing. At the risk of stinking up my beautiful Skeeter, I've agreed to oblige them. Would any of you boys care to give me some tips to put these boys on some cats this time of year. Should I stick to the main lake or work my way up one of the arms? What depth should I focus on? Any particular bait or just something stinky? Thanks in advance!

Since you like catching them green sunfish just get ya a few and fish em live down at the dam!!!!!! Lol
Getcha some shad, find some timber 8 ft to 18 inches deep and get them on this shallow water bite!!!!! It might even convert you!!!! Lol

Shallow water and cut shad. My son and I caught 28 Tues. afternoon and 40 on Friday. 1 to 2 ft. of water, in stumps and caught them up to 10 lbs. Pics are from this last Friday. thats what I'm talking about!! where did you get the shad and what arm were you in?
