Otters, Chaders and I went on a trip with Matt yesterday. Had a great trip in spite of the weather. It was pretty ugly early, but cleared up and only had the wind to contend with. Matt moved several times to put us on fish. He even has an entourage. Everytime we moved, the same 3-4 boats moved right in behind us! Matt worked his tail off to get us on fish. I don't have any pictures yet, but some of those hybrids were huge! We wound up catching about 30 hybrids/striper, 7 or 8 big sandies - and one huge crappie. This was the first crappie Otters had ever caught and he got a nice one to start out on. I didn't get a thirty pounder  , guess I'll have to try again  . Thanks Matt - great trip and a fun day. There are a lot of posts bragging on Matt and he deserves it. If you want to catch some fish and have a good time, give him a call.

Yes a legend indeed he is. Its obvious he has paid his dues. In that respect I always give him his space even though sometimes its hard. I have been following the TFF for several years but have never posted, but this dude deserves some recognition. On several occasions he has given me helpful advise. Thanks Matt hats off to you man!

Matt is da man...and I for one appreciate the great informative posts about my favorite lake. If it wasnt for the recent posts about state records and fat fish, I would have just laid around today and listened to the wind blow and not have have taken my son out this morning and another father/son family and missed out on some big fish. These smiles are for you Matt

Matt is an A+ guide, he never stopped looking for more fish(even with the strong wind). My day started out slow but by the end of the day I found my groove. When we would try another spot and look back it looked like the Spanish armada was coming right at us. Whenever one of us would ask a question he would answer and would go in depth about the subject and explain why. I will be definitely booking another trip with Matt, I enjoyed it alot!
