What's your favorite? Hook, weight, screw or no screw? I'm tryin to decide which ones I want to load up on. Black angel jigs look like they have a nice one

Strike King KVD shakey head, 1/8 - 1/4 oz. green pumpkin. Has a 3/0 hook and "barb" retainer. I fish as light a weight as I can.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

+1 on the strike king.

I like the barb design the best. I even cut about half the barb off. I fish shakeyheads a lot and I have tried just about all kinds. The screw in heads were the worst for me for hook up ratio. The worm will not slip down and expose the hook very well. I know a lot of people that throw them but they are not for me. The only thing that I would change is I would have a 4/0 hook on all sizes, not just the 1/4 oz.

Set the hook first, ask questions later!!!

For smaller shakey heads I like the owner screw lock head. Bigger shakey heads the xcite xlock

I really like the Santone Piglet, I think the screwlock is the way to go. Not a huge fan of the curved shank hooks on Shakey heads, the Piglet has the roundbend and you'll always get a better hookup

All fishermen are liars except for you and me, and to tell you the truth, I'm not sure about you!

I'm a little partial to my designs.

Something heavy I use the Predator jig head, something lighter, I use the Predator finesse jig head and when it gets down and dirt needing light weight with a heavy hook, I use the Stiffy jig.

I still like Spot Removers! Especially for light line. I keep an assortment of Owner jigheads. Got much confidence in them also.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan
