I use mostly spinning reels with a few baitcasting. I and our club members have found that Co-polymer line by Suffix or McCoy are fantastic for what you need. Low memory, low stretch, and great with knots an abrasion

Just remember, when you first put the line on your reels, let out about 50 feet of line (with no hook or anything) behind your boat, then reel it in. This will help eliminate any loops you put onto your reel.

10-20lb braid with a fluoro or mono leader. Leave it on there for a year or more and no issues with twist or loops.

The only true intercontinental champion.

I like to use 20 lb suffix with a flouro leader, but the braid doesn't cast near as good as a straight flouro set up.

like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack

I like P-line CX Premium, which is a copolymer with an outer coating of fluorocarbon. I use 12# on my spinning gear. I spray it with KVD lure/line conditioner and it works very well for me.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

I use this most of the time as well. Also use 15lb braid.

10# Power pro braid with a Seaguar InvisX leader of choice tied on with a double uni knot.
