old chest freezer, large kids pool or like william said a bathtub or like chickenfrie said, a hole with a tarp lining. whatever you come up with, just don't forget to aerate the water.

55 gallon plastic drum cut in half. Academy sells a 110 aerator, that I use. keep the other drum that your not using filled with water to get the cholrine out. When the other drum with your perch in it gets dirty, just transfer your perch over to the other drum with the clean water.

I bet horse/cow troughs at places like tractor supply would work nice. depending on how much you want to spend, and how much room you have you could make a real nice one.

Small amounts of bait can be kept in tanks but the waste from to many fish will kill them. I have tried everything.. a pond it the best. less than 50 can be kept but a weekend of trot line fishing's worth will die in a day. I had a 500 gallon trough and they still died with all the filteration I could buy. Chemicals that bait sellers help for sure. I used then too. If you have access to well water you could make it work but city water will kill them. A pond is the best if you trust the owner. I have stocked a few just for my bait to be given away..:(
