We fished Media Fork Teams today...don't know the exact number but there was around 120-125 total team entries. We took 20th over all but very easily could have been in the top 10. We tried boat flipping a couple of solid unders early and that didn't work out to well for us so the net came out. We caught all of our fish with drop-shotted red tomato finesse worms in 5 foot of water or less near stick-ups. From Secondary points to the backs of creeks is what worked best for us. We never went more then 15 minutes without boating a fish. Thanks to Cameron @ Lake Fork Marina for keeping these jewels in stock. I have been using these for a long time and they are very hard to come by. You better get them while you can.

Congrats Shawn. As you know our day turned miserable. I looked at where we would have finished. Live and Learn.

We had nearly 11#. We had a 2.4# fish that was close to 16" when we caught it. I know you should recheck a fish like that later, because they can relax and get a hair longer. We caught plenty of 2# to get rid of it and I would normally recheck it at that point.. But forgot to do so. Lesson learned. We could of still had 10.5#+, costing us $1K. A mistake that won't happen again. It has been a tough couple of days and I feel bad for my son.
