Any ideas??

Find some grass on the lower end, and throw something watermelon in it, you will get bit. Also the grass might be very shallow, still hit it. Good Luck!

Just got back from Choke. We fished Fri, Sat, and Sun..we had a great time. Wind killed us. All the fish are on the North side of the lake so we could only get a few hrs in before the wind hit. Our boats not that big and it was 25+. We fished 4 fingers and 3 fingers. we found lots of good Hydrilla in 4fingers. The first day we fished in 3 fingers and caught 16 biggest weighing just shy of 6lbs and then saturday we went in to 4 fingers and only caught 12 but werent in there but maybe and hr and a half with a 8lb 13 oz. Today (sunday) we caught 31 in 2 hrs in four fingers (it was awesome) all were pounders and 2 pounders though. We caught almost everything on shallow running square bills and lipless crankbaits ripping it through the grass. if your into color we were using strike kings sexy shad with the chartreuse color. I would say 90% of our fish were caught on the points (secondary) where we found grass. Feel free to PM your number and i can tell you exactly where we fished. Other than the wind i thought it was an awesome lake lots of scenery, (alligators) it was there first time any of us had fished choke and i was impressed. Most everyone i had talked to said it was overrated?? If i knew how to post pics i would put some up..? Good Luck!

I caught about 40 bass on Sunday morning. Biggest around 4.5 on Carolina rig caught a 3.5 on a spook off some rocks missed some flipping stumps an standing timber. Caught a lot on Crankbaits as well lots of fish in that lake!!
