This is kinda off subject but I seen some falcon rods at the oshmans here in denton for $30.00 each thay had a whole rack the first of the week just thought some might want to know.

They got the Team Daiwa rods (or did have) up here fer $20 (only up to 6'6" though ), and the Falcons are all $25...had decided not to as I only have one reel that needs a rod, and I think I'm gonna buy a new rod for one of my other reels, and the rodless reel will inherit the rod...but I think I just might hafta go fer one if they still got 'em tomorrow.

Plenty of deals at the Katy Mills Wal Mart including Falcon and Allstar rods. It was hard to walk away from stuff I could use but really didn't need. I'm totally stocked and ready to go thanks to the Bass Pro Shops fishing classic and Wal-Mart clearance sales.

The wal mart off 1604 and 281 had some berkly series one ords reg 79.99 for 30 bucks. Only a few left.

FishingorHunting-Of course it was labeled wrong. But the way it was labeled it must have been the store personell that did it. Makes no never mind to me, their mistake my gain. And I'm sure your not insinuating I changed it? Because it was pretty clear in my post that the label was altered.

I would have told the employee it was mismarked. It's the honest thing to do. If they still wanted to sell it for $18 after that, then I would have bought it.

I was in the Walmart in Kerrville,TX last night and I did not see any rods on sale so I asked the guy in sporting goods about a clearance sale. He said his manager told him to take down all the rods and categorize them and he said many of them will probably be on clearance this week. I picked up several packages of gamagatzu worm hooks for $1.50 per pk.

I was in the BigLots on Gus Thomasson the other day. They didn't have much left, but I picked up some packs of hooks for 10 cents each. It ooked like they just cleared out almost all their fishing stuff.I thinkI'll check a couple of other locations.

Bought some Lake Fork Special Rattle Traps for $2.00 each. Then I walked buy the regular priced crankbaits and noticed the new XRap from Rapala and couldn't walk away before I paid $5.87 a piece for them.
