I fish out of a kayak so space is of most importance. Does anyone use something to make them that is small and still legal. I see most people use bleach jugs but think that might b hand to carry a dozen or so big jugs around. Also does a limb have to have a jug marker or can I put a flag or other kind of marker

a limb line or throw line does not need a tag or marker. Most people use something like orange ribbon or something similar to mark the location of the line so that if you set a bunch of lines you can have something to aid you in finding the lines.

Don't use yellow plastic ribbon. I did once and all the trees were willows. Some of the leaves had turned yellow, and I had a time finding my lines.

i use orange flagging tape on my limb lines.i also set my lines out of my kayak and space is important so i wrap my lines around a pool noodle about a foot long i can store about 20 lines per noodle and carry them in my milk crate hope this helps and good luck! also tie the tape to the line not to the limb.that way if you have a fish you will see the tape moving and the tape will always be on the line and not left on the limb

I use six inch pieces of half inch Pvc pipe. I pre tie all my limb lines at different lengths. Use one hook and a one pound dumbbell. I can fit ten set ups in a small tackle box. PVC pieces do not draw to mutch attention either.

I use black line. Set one hook no more than 12 " in the water and remember where I set them. Run them often and make sure they aren"t where any boaters will get hooked. Pull them as soon as you finish fishing. Oh I use live bait on the hook. Put a small weight below the hook. I don't mark mine.

good fishing
