Well its fishin time for me again. =) Went out to the Weatherford Crappie House on Wednesday and on today. Didn't catch a mess but I didn't get skunked on either day, and the ones we were catching were pretty good size. I dont have any pics from Wednesday but we caught 6 keepers, went out there today and got 4 keepers. 2 of them are friggin HOGS! I got pics of them before I cleaned 'em. I'm hoping to go back real soon even though I'm not usually a crappie fisherman. My main target is normally catfish but you just can't beat crappie fried in a little cornmeal, hushpuppies and fried taters. Mmm... Plus they're a blast to catch when they're biting.

Good Job, I went there at midnight and fished it until 4:15 am not one bump. Fished inside and outside. I was the only one there.

What time of day were you catching them?

We were there from about 3pm to 9pm, but they were only biting until about 5-5:30 then they shut completely off. Not one more bite for anyone there except for the occasional dinky yellow bass, or blue gill. We were fishing small live minnows all night. There weren't many caught on jigs either night I was there. It seems like live bait is still the way to go for now. All the fish I caught were on the inside, on the side closest to the bank, between 1-2 feet off the bottom. But when the bite shut off it REALLY shut off.
