How big do you think that bass was or maybe you caught a glimpse of it before it snapped or came off your line?
What Lake, river, pond were you at?

My biggest bass that I lost I am estimating around 9 to 10 lbs from a local pond.

I had one that felt like it was 20 pounds, lol, but who knows, it might have been a 8, I never saw her. She took my stuff and left at Falcon. I was fishing 25 flouro with the drag tight and she still took me to the bushes. The biggest one I have seen was probably in the 9-10 range on fork.

It's painful to think about how many times I've had my rod bent in half and got wrapped around a tree/bush at Falcon. Who knows what the weights were but I'm sure I've lost more dd fish then I've caught.

12lb + Cooper Lake back in its hey day. I flipped a lizard over a lay down with the intention of dragging it over it and into the sweet spot. Well, I guess the sweet spot was on the back side. She hammered it, I set the hook, got her turned and pulled her up on a lay down, she flopped over the laydown with the line wrapped around a knot in the wood. The whole time my buddy is screaming "IT'S a TEENER, IT"S A TEENER!!!" All I could do is watch while she thrashed around and came off. It all happened in slow motion. I can remember it like it was yesterday.

This ^^^^^, but I guesstimated her weight between 10 and 47 pounds.
