I looked and called humminbird on thru hull and you have to mount it to the transom. You can buy a transducer that is thru hull but you have to cut a 1" hole in the bottom of the boat to mount it. The transducer goes in the hole to make it work. I just could not justify putting that big of hole in my floor (hull) for that

Ok, I've got it mounted. On this Charger there are a couple of levels that make it pretty easy as it turns out. Went to BPS and got me a transducer mounting plate as suggested and it worked great. Hope to sneak out on the water a little this afternoon if the wind isn't too bad and see hoow she works.
