 Where did they go?

I've been fishing a boat house at 12ft thats been set up with brushpiles. The crappie have been hitting at that depth for an hour 6:30pm-7:30pm for the past 3 days and then the bite turns off. I try shallow and deeper nothing.  I'm in a cove so do these crappie head out deep?

I have been fishing with minnows off a dock that has a light in the evenings. They seem to quit around 9pm or so. I just think they quit feeding, as you'll get subtle bites afterwards. Just my observations.

That's my kind of fishing too at night with a light. I'll give it a try tonight and see if I can't get them to stay after sunset.

Been getting them good from 7am till 8:45am the they are tough.

They scatter to go chase shad when the sun goes down. You are probably catching them when they start feeding before they scatter.

where can i get a light for cheap that will run off a trolling motor battery? my dock has a light but its rusted all to hell
If people understood what was important in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles.
