Had a good run with sandies and crappie Sunday afternoon. They were up in the creek getting their spawn on. This is what my buddy and me ended up with. 32 crappie and 14 sandies. Biggest of the day. She was probably a little over 2 lbs.

Forgot to mention what we were using. Road runners with a white grub tail.

I think that is up on the northeast corner, north of the east bridge of 175. I've never tried to get my boat up there. Don't know if it is possible.

These are from Lacie creek also, my brother, dad, and a friend caught all these hybrids and sandies in 4 feet of water using chrome/blue rat-l-traps. You have to hike in a bit, but the fishing is rewarding. Rob

Nice Capt. Rob! Do you know if the water is still running in the creek?

Jerm,
Its slowed down a bit, if we get the rain they are forcasting in the next few days it will be great. First the catfish will bite with the stained water, then the hybrids and sandies will hit within a day or two from that, then i noticed the crappie will be in the deep holes following the sandies.
