Finished with 35.77 for 9th last weekend @BC straight up: 12-18 Ft 3/4 jig on main lake points. All but 1 fish had spawned out BB 9.10 30lbs in 23 mins. I use 50lb braid with 20lb flouro leader. The bigger fish are deeper & the bite felt a little mushy. On your jig skirts stay with craw or terrestrial colors, the girls are looking for meals not snacks.

This week and weekend is going to be windy. Gusts in the high 30's so be prepared for rough water.

You'll be encountering a strong south wind with very high gusts. Be very careful when traveling anywhere as Falcon can get very dangerous very fast in high winds. Not too many places to get out of the wind on this lake. Just remember, if you do find a moderately windy cove the main lake will be he11. I just can't stress how quickly you can get in trouble if you are not watching the wind conditions around you.

+1
I would drive to the state park and fish the South end this week unless you are comfortable in really big waves, or just want to fish the pockets in Veleno. Good luck and hope you safely wear them out.
