Alright ladies and gentlemen. As much as I support CPR for trophy fish, we have to cut out all of arguing and yelling at each other on this board in regards to keeping or releasing fish. If you want to post a picture of a fish and say you released it fine. If you post a picture of a big fish and kept it that's fine too as long as it was landed by legal means and falls within the regulations for that particular lake. I am also trying to get a sub-forum board in the catfish section for the folks that like to run jug lines and trotlines. I'm going to lock these threads if the yelling and personal attacks continue. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but many of these posts are getting out of hand. Trolling (not talking crank baits, or Hell-Pet rigs) isn't going to be tolerated either. Let's keep it clean and everyone please just get along.

I agree, we gotta just get along and except both ways.
I disagree with dividing the forum. It is all catfishing. People need to learn to get along with others not just bellyache till they get what they want. We are for the most part grown men and women with a few kids in the mix, we can handle this, GET OVER IT and go fishing.

I've voiced my opinion a few times and felt like I went a little too far, ruffled some feathers. I try to keep my two cents to myself. I don't want to be the bad guy, when I ask for advise I want it to come from guys that are great anglers. A lot of the greats are CPR only which is awesome, there are great anglers here that keep big ones too. I also disagree with splitting up the forum. People need to understand not every fish will always be released. I think if you keep em you shouldn't tell everyone, but that's just me. You think every carp is released? I don't. I guaranty the guys that do keep em don't post much in the rough fish section.

Yeah but bowfishing carp is a legal means... post that up over there and see how far you get.

Thanks Bobby for posting this, yes sir, its been geting out of hand for a long time. I read the catfish section about 5 times a day and would like to comment on some posts (nothing negative), but someone will always have something neg. to say about it.My lawyer R D Mercer says to just ignore it which I do, but some of these guys really get down with one another. Im on here to learn as much about catting as I can (as other guys).I cant imagine what would happen if everyone carried a gun on their boat. Its easy to bash someone on the computer, but different story on the water. Thanks alot for posting this, I just hope it works, it needed to be said a long time ago. God Bless.

Good Stuff. I just realized Bobby was a mod. When did that happen? Congrats on the promotion. I don't know if promotion is the right term....but I don't think any of the existing moderators are catfish anglers so adding Bobby to the ranks makes sense.
