Your so negitive and quick to strike out at me. You really need to get over yourself BassBug.... Indicator/Bobber Apples/Oranges....... Its made of Fur & Feathers, tied on a fish hook. Id like to see you cast it on a spinning rod, wont go very far. -Stay out my threads if your going to poke at me and try to stir stuff up. You dont make the calls in the fly fishing world. They already have definitions you can look up. Your one of the main reasons people dont post here. An artificial fly or fly lure is a type of fishing lure, usually used in the sport of fly fishing (although they may also be used in other forms of angling). In general, artificial flies are the bait which fly fishers present to their target species of fish while fly fishing. Artificial flies are constructed by fly tying, in which furs, feathers, thread or any of very many other materials are tied onto a fish hook.[1] Artificial flies may be constructed to represent all manner of potential freshwater and saltwater fish prey to include aquatic and terrestrial insects, crustaceans, worms, baitfish, vegetation, flesh, spawn, small reptiles, amphibians, mammals and birds, etc. Effective artificial fly patterns are said to be killing flies because of their ability to put fish in the creel for the fly fisher. There are thousands of artificial fly patterns, many of them with descriptive and often idiosyncratic names. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_flyIf it makes you a bit happier, its a jig fly. Still a fly..... That lands fish after fish after fish. -Stay out of my threads BB, That was the agreement last year per MOD's.

Again, you are one of the main reasons people dont post cause you come in and criticize people, make fun of people, and start stuff. Stay out of my threads like the MODS asked you, why is it so hard to follow the rules?

(Above) Everyone in the Hell Hole. Remember, fish are all upstream and downstream. Not just where I am. If you are knee deep in the water, you are standing on fish, Back the heck up! I was casting 3-4 ft in front of me today due to the school was on the shelf riding it like a wave to save power. They do this all up and down the creek, find slack water or nice deep pools with a good steady incline on a shelf. No need to tangle with everyone when the fish are within feet of you. Now in the pic below, you will see downstream, NO ONE IS FISHING THERE! So, I sent some of my previous client to the next hole down and they took out limits in solitude. Go find a spot with no one around to crowd you. You will still catch fish, lol. Air pressure rose fast shutting down the bite at 830 am. Pressure started to drop late afternoon as I got back in the water. 3 pm I made my first cast and started to fill the stringer. 5 pm (2 hours) was all it took to catch my limit (25 Magnum Sandbass) to 16 inches for the day. Saw another fellow TFF er that does not post for the same reason as stated. But, he was tearing them up in every hole I saw him in.

I dont really care what yall call it. The way I see it is that it is getting fly fishing out in front of people who may have never seen it before. I have not fly fished for a long time, a year at most, and I have used Carey's "jig fly" and have caught fish on it. Now I am hooked for life and have introduced 7 peole into the sport, which by the use the same type of flies. These people are now getting others involved. It is people like Bass Bug that I thought of when I first saw fly fishing and gave me a bad taste about the sport. I am happy there is people like Carey who are growing the sport. This stuff is why I stopped looking at the forum for a while. I guess what I am saying is get over it and get back to fishing.
