If you see a red bass boat in sands, the 2 guys are ok, hit a stump. Had to give them a ride back to the ramp

Do we need to help them get the boat back in?

I was tide to a tree enjoying lunch and watched this play out. I was going to assist but two other boats jumped in ahead of me and felt they were in good hands. I saw both individuals moving about and knew they were ok.

Hard lesson learned. Glad all were ok.

The stump needs to be flagged...

I will be back out tomorrow......

I have a feeling I know the stump. Wish I would have went in sand branch this evening to see this.

Is the stump past the tree line where most people shut down running in? Or further back?

If your coming in from the main lake there are two lanes. The one to the right is the main lane the one to the left is a lane but watch out as there are stumps in that one. The left one is the one the red boat was coming out of which would have been the one on the right if head out to the main lake. Between island and cluster of trees going in or out....

Wishing someone would post end results (i.e) got boat back to ramp, damage done, pic's ect....

I was going back out this morning but had other things come up that kept me from making it.

Boat was near the west bank of the big island in sand today. Setting on the bottom in the shallow water near the bank. Boat was setting deep in the water too. Passenger console was all busted up. Looked rough.

Gotcha. I run in on the right all the time. Had me worried for a minute. Glad they were ok though.

I didn't think there was a good way to run to the left of the island

Here is a question? Who do you call to help get the boat out? never really thought of that but it was my friend that amde this post and helped them. he did not know nor did I. He was scared to try a pull. thinking it might fill up with more water. They wanted to go back to Buck.
