Gotta love the yak in the background of some of these photos. Guess you never really know what is in the water with you.

Been more reports & sightings of them round here. They are moving further northwest and multiplying.

Just ask DeerStangler or TMac.

Yup, there are a ton in Texas lakes that never are seen. I don't think they will bother you in most cases. However I keep my feet in the kayak in on some lakes wink

like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack

Gah, I hate sharks. We would see them all the time around Bob Hall Pier when I lived in Corpus and used to try "surfing." Paddling out to the second-ish sandbar would guarantee a siting. The surfing was kinda lame although I heard from some of the old-timers that it used to be really great before a major hurricane, I think Cecil maybe, came in and destroyed whatever it was about the beaches that made surfing good.

I've never encountered a gattor. I'm sure I would be scared s**tless. I'm reading this right now.

Edit: That website didn't really offer squat for info.
