What is going on with Hubbard. I beat a ton of bank this afternoon and evening and ended with one fish. The only thing I see swimming around shallow is Gar. I tried jigs for the small majority of the time also through crankbaits, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, worms, creatures...nothing but one. Water temperature in the backs of coves on the SW side of the lake between 62-66 degrees. I spent last spring on a much smaller lake and WHACKED EM so what am I doing wrong here. Will they not spawn until the main lake temps reach 60 or what???

Ray Hubbard and I am referring to south end of the lake I have been doing fine up the river.

They're biting better on south end of lake than north end. Maybe you just hit them at wrong time.

I have a tough time on the south end too. I need to go with someone who can show me what I am doing wrong. Maybe I just need to fish that side little more, its just hard to do when I know I can go in the river and a least have decent day.

What seems to work the best in the marinas moving baits or a slower presentation.

captain cove rocks ,power plant discharge back in creek,this time the marinas, north soon top water early pads all day.

Don't beat yourself up to much brother. I had over 30lbs last Wednesday and then fished CABA last night and ZEROED!!! Great lake one day and the next day it will humble you big time.
