Two weeks ago I saw the shad already starting to die. I havent been there since.

I never heard anything about huge numbers of fish dying... There were certainly areas that were affected, but I think it wasn't too bad this time

Go for it, isolated areas of dead shad, drum and bluegill. Fishing is pretty good right now though

You can check my Whitney fishing report from yesterday at Whitney Lake Online ...

We had a hard time... but the fish kill was minimal mid lake.... we just didn't find any fish.

Headed out there on Saturday. Hope it was minimal and isolated because I sure need to catch some good ones. Anyone else been out recently?
