Most fish have spawned but you can still find some that have not.

Find points or humps either up the off of the main lake or the main lake itself. Throw jigs and t-rigs from right up on shore to as deep as your comfortable. Work whatever you throw slowly. Once you start getting bit consistently fish at the depth in other spots.

I'm sure you've heard, you're best off fishing fairly heavy tackle. Plastics that always work are big senko-type worms in watermelon or green pumpkin anything. Brushhogs, mag flukes and lizards.

Stop by Falcon Lake Tackle to get up to the minute info.

Was there last week just like most reports been saying, find the rocks. Found fish on each point/hump we fished that had rocks in 10-20 ft of water. Best spots we had were on rocky ledges. We actually did very well on lake fork ring fry carolina rigged. Not sure why they like that stinky bait but they were eating it up. Was very windy most everyday and we were limited to what areas we could fish but still ended up pretty good. Biggest we had was little over 9.

Join the rest of the crowd in Tigres. Throw carolina rigged mag flukes in watermelon/red on any point you find. More rock, the better. Also try the road beds.

Sounds like a lot of good information guys. I will be there fishing Friday and Sat. Hopefully I reel up a good one. Any suggestions in line size for Crankbaits and Carolina rigs up there was thinking 14 on Crankbaits and 20lb fluro on t-rig and on one carolina and 65lb braid on another and everything else.

I would recommend against using flouro on your trig. 65 lb braid is your best bet there- you may regret using anything less

I don't understand why everyone says "65lb braid is a must" at Falcon. I don't recommend going with 10lb line.....but you don't need to be throwing rope either. The last three trips out there I didn't break off a single fish and I threw 30lb braid on my jig and worm rods and 20lb floro on DD22 rod and 20lb big game on my squarebill rod. We pitched trees, brush and rocks. Threw crankbaits in the nastiest stuff I could find and never broke off on a fish. Did I lose a few baits due to hanging up? Of course a few......but that's to be expected when you toss baits into those jungle trees!

Throw what your comfortable with......if it's 65lb braid then use it. If it's 20lb Big Game.....then use it. I will tell you that the last 2 trips, mid trip I respooled and took off the braid and caught more fish. Just my opinion....
