I bought a new 998c GI last year pre-loaded with Navionics Gold and HotMaps Premium Charts. I was fishing Amistad this week and when I went into Mexico it showed nothing, no contour lines at all. It worked fine right up to the Rio Grande then I was blind.
What do I need to do to get the Mexico side on my unit? The GPS worked in Mexico, just no mapping.

You need to get a Mapping SD Card with more maps. Like LakeMaster or Navionics Cards that has coverage on both sides of the lake.

Navionics has HD coverage on the Mexico side of both Amistad and Falcon. HD means 1' contours not standard 5' or 10'.
