I'm leaving work early tuesday to try buffalo and scottland and taking Wednesday off to fish wherever so I don't know what's gonna happen. I will be using jigs but also bought some minners today after work just in case they want some.

Tried the bridges around arrowhead yesterday after 6 and got skunked. Damn it sure felt right though. Talked to a guy this morning and he said the water temp was 52 to 58, depending on where you are on the water. He said that they are still down in the 12 to 15 foot area.

Ok, buffalo is too shallow to get to the crappie since they are still a little deeper. Buffalo is looking pretty low but there were about 8 bass boats fishing along the dam. I didn't see anyone catching and I was driving out on the dirt road the game warden stopped me to check my fishing license and he said people are catching nice crappie but it's "hit or miss".
After that we checked out Shoshonee park and the water is below any trees or stickups, boat ramp is about 20 feet from the water.
On to the bridges, we were the only ones at third bridge till about 5 pm and it's too shallow, if you cast out its only about 3 feet deep. We tried fishing under the bridge and my son lost a small crappie at the bank. We used jigs and minnows.
I think tomorrow we will take the boat and go after the hybrid striper at waurika, the spawn started last week. Don't think I'll make it back to arrowhead since my son has a boyscout meeting.

To windy to fish waurika so we fished middle lake for about an hour and caught a large mouth and moved on to buffalo. We got skunked on the crappie but there are alot of largemouth being taken and all about 4 lbs, one guy had 10 in just a couple hours. We had fun in the tubes and I had about a 7 lb carp spin me in circles. the crappie will be shallow soon and I now have an idea about lake levels.
