I have fished Falcon 4 times. Just figured out how to catch fish there on my last trip. Fished Amistad once for a week and had a great time. Caught fish every day. Most in the 2-6# range and they were caught mostly on swim baits about this time of year. We did catch some on large senkos and jerk baits. Amistad is by far the prettier lake to visit with the clear water and big canyons. I am not saying that I prefer Amistad to Falcon. I will be back at Falcon again in the next couple of weeks. I like them both for different reasons. For me Falcon is just much closer and I can make a one day trip any time I want. I would not drive to Amistad for less than a three day trip.

Guided trips on Dale Hollow, Lake Erie, Lake Jordan and those rivers in the SE to catch those "other black bass". Guided trip on Toledo Bend, Reelfoot and Lake Okeechobee for sunfish is right along side those trips. A float down a nice, secluded Ozark stream is 1C.

Spent four days on Amistad once and had a great time but I have seen posts on the forum where dudes reported their best five for a day in the 40 to 50 pound range on Falcon so I have to go with Falcon.
