Hit Fork tonight...and it hit back...hard! If you don't make a trip out here soon you are missing out. Call off work, divorce your wife, abandon your offspring...whatever it takes. Once the rains and clouds cleared the bite was on like donkey kong. Easily boated 50-60 in 6 hours of fishing. 4-20' depth mostly around timber. Lots of buck bass at first until we headed a little deeper then we found some big girls. Most still held their eggs and thus weight, but ol rebel managed to hook a huge one that would have been very noteworthy had she not spawned out. Lost a few beasts at boat side but overall nothing to cry about when you have a night like this...one few anglers ever see outside their dreams...quit reading this and get out here and find out for yourselves, and take a kid fishing...they are the future of our sport...

I have fished Fork at night a time or two. 60 in 6 hours at night is outstanding! If my math is right, you caught 1-2 bass every 10 minutes for 6 hours straight...
With this being said, I believe you, but what you did is legendary.

Let me make note there were three of us in the boat. Several times we were doubled up but never trippled. Lures ranged from senkos to swim baits and everything inbetween. Several times we spent more time
Unhooking fish than catching them. We took a few pics, but not of each fish for time's sake. We were kind of concerned that the amount of other boats to see us and start following us will cause our run in with pot kickers to increase exponentially.

I guess the 4 inches of rain did not muddy it up to bad. Like the man said it time to go.

It's muddy, up north and at Mid-lake where I fished it's muddy bud..

Fish don't mind it.. Bed fisherman do..

Catching is on during the day too. I fished alone Saturday from 7 am till 3 pm and caught 52 bass. All came from 3 to 6 ft in the mouths of the creeks.

x2 on the night vision, there haven't been that many boats night fishing and do you really think people would follow you around to different areas.....

I fished out there Thursday. It's the first time ever I put my boat in the lake THREE times in ONE day! Thunder and Lighting...gotta go!

The first time we decided to leave, about 15 minutes before we left the fish just turned on in this pocket. Caught 4 fish on almost back to back cast. Sucked having to leave that spot but didn't want to risk it.

Hoping I can get back out there this weekend.

You'd be surprised about some people following you at night. They hear a splash and a High Five and whata you know? He comes an ole boat trolling up close to you with that blank stare on their face, rod in hand. HAHAHA
