OP Clint Wr Extreme Angler C Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 1,993 East Texas	Just upgraded from a 2005 Mercury 225 Optimax to a 2012 Mercury 250 Pro XS with a 26p Fury. I have a TR-21 X Series. Curious how fast you guys with 250's are going... My boat did 70-72 with the 225. I'm still in break-in with the 250, so I'm taking it easy for while.

Ken A. Groovy Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 13,790 Trenton, Tx	Clint, You will see another 2-3 mph over your 225 with the new motor. Don't expect a huge difference. You should have the right prop too. The Fury is about as good as it gets for that setup. Ken

Also check your rpms with that 26. I turn a 27 in cooler months and switch to a 26 in the summer.
