Does anyone know why are they letting so much water out of Tawakoni and are they doing the same with Fork? There are flood warnings in the Sabine River south of Mineola because of it and I just can't understand why the gates are open when both lakes are still low and they have been getting rain downstream as well. Please clue me in!

Wait I know, bc Fork is so overstocked with giants that they need to flush a few 1000 away to make room for then to even swim? JK of course

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A

THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY THURSDAY EARLY AFTERNOON. * IMPACT...AT 15.5 FEET...LOWLAND FLOODING PROBLEMS WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE AND END AS RESERVOIR RELEASES CONTINUE FROM LAKE TOWAKONI.

I deal with an MSHA Mine inspector when I work at the Morton Salt Mines in Grand Saline. The MSHA Inspector deals EXTINSIVELY with the power plants in East Texas due to the fact that most of them have coal mining operations at most of them. He's the one who told me about this last summer.

Now, I just use it to troll a little and jack with you guys, but there is truth to it..
