This topic makes me think of that yahoo in Arkansas that lost a state record for fishing without a license. I'm not sure that Falcon has a world record in it but it would sure suck to catch the fish of a thousand lifetimes only to be fishing illegally. Pay to Ceaser what it Ceaser's...

I take it no one has ever been asked to show a Mex license after 1500 looks. Why does anyone buy these things? I will pay just to not visit a mexican jail and the chance to see my family again, not to mention my tackle, or my pride when omar in the jail cell makes you his you know what . Good enough? Why even risk that, laws are laws.

It amazes me, that we always expect and want people to obey the laws of our own country, yet think it's ok to break laws in others.
Lead by example, if you fish in Mexico without a license, don't ever complain about illegals breaking laws here....

I was told if anyone even acts like they are coming toward you in a boat, to leave immediatly, fast as you can, because their is not any Fish and Game authority in Mexico at present. I really agree with staying out of Mexico. Buddy told me yesterday that Curt Dove took him and another follow boat over their last year and when my bud said he really did`nt want to go over their, Curt told them that he would be responsible. I asked my bud for what? For contacting your next of kin?

I would like to know, on Falcon, if you are approached how many people would stop. I don't need a license because there is no way no matter what boat you are in on the Mexican side, I AM GONE> There is no such a thing as "Law Enforcement" over there. They ran them all off. The only thing License or Not over there is Bad. The drug cartels run the border over there not cops. Let someone pull you over on the Mexican side of Falcon and we will see you on the news or never again. Just my opinion.

Tell you what, why don't you ask this question to the guy from San Antonio that had his boat confiscated a few years ago because he didnt have his license. He can tell you the answer that you apparently want to hear.

Strange you should mention that. I was in the bathroom at the State park last year and got to telling a guy about the fish we'd been catching on the Mexican side and he asked me if I had an MX license. When I told him that I did he said that's a good thing because he had lost a Triton boat due to no license. He finally was able to recover the boat after quite some period of time and a huge expense. The gentleman had a very interesting story and not one I would care to repeat. I have fished in Mx with and without a license but admit that it feels much better not looking over your shoulder all the time.

Back in January when we were down there we had Some gill netters come right up on us and offer us some bass... They looked at us weird when we told them we throw them back
