Just got back from 3 1/2 days of fishing there. We did not catch the "big" one, but caught the snot out of them until the front blew us off the lake friday. Most caught on jerking a Shad Rap but caught on crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jerk baits, and even a couple on topwaters. For pictures ( I should leran to post the pics here some day) and a full report on how and where check out my blog. Good Luck and Tight Lines. http://fishcatchingtravel.com/

I consider Amistad my "home" lake. Great report and there are some really good holes in the devils arm. The small mouths really can be a blast. Great report redfishlaw!
At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

Hey all,
I am heading out there to fish Sunday and Monday. I am taking my daughter for the first time and really want to put her on some fish. Size doesn't really matter. Just want her to be able to set the hook a bunch. Any specific spots or coves up the devils? I know the weather is a factor but she is on spring break so it's now or never. Any help would be great.
