I don't get it. For one, this sentence makes absolutely NO sense: Keep it somewhere other than in any vehicle. Second, what keeps them from charging both tags when you aren't pulling the trailer? And when you are, what keeps them from charging both tags for 3 or 4 axles?

The email I received from NTTA did not make much sense, so I just called them. They put the trailer on my present toll tag that I keep in the vehicle. If the trailer is being towed, I will be charged for 3 axles. If the trailer is not being towed, I should be charged for 2 axles. The charges are suppose to be at the toll tag discounted rate.
I think it was working this way previously when I towed the boat and the trailer was not listed on the toll tag. !!!???

NTTA is very crooked. They did not even send a bill on me that time. Then when they did, it had so many late fees on it, it would scare your face off. I argued it and they eventually waved the late fees. But only when I agreed to buy a tag for my boat trailer.

Oklahoma Indians get you pretty good driving across Oklahoma with the extra axles.

Pulling a tandem axle boat trailer you get charged the same as THREE vehicles thru every toll gate. Huge rip off. $ 28.00 in tolls in one day going down GBT from I35E to I30. The signs say three or more axles additional. They just don't post HOW much! Lesson Learned.
