I have a "Stiffy" push pole. Well, kind of. I loaned it to the Packman last Spring and haven't seen it since! www.stiffypushpoles.com

For a flat boat in the bay, stiffy bar none but.... For bass fish that's a different story. Because of obvious storage constraints the only stiffy option is a two piece and having to take it apart and put it back together over and over again gets old quick. Not to mention the cost and weight.... That being said, at ICAST a couple years back I came across a pole I was really impressed with. A fraction of the weight, a third of the cost of a stiffy and only one piece (fits in most rod lockers). Initially, I was concerned with the locking mechanism but it has yet to ever slip and I have used and abused it. No affiliation, just a very satisfied customer. www.thesuperstick.com
