 Anyone ever been checked on the Mexico side without a fishing license?

I have never seen a Mexican game warden on Falcon. I have seen the lady warden on Amistad. I was just wondering if anyone had ever been stopped without a Mex license and what happened.

The lady warden on the Mexico side has been seen a lot. I myself have never seen her but friends of mine who fish Amistad on a regular basis (Mexico side) have said that they have seen her a lot. She only waves at em and has never stopped em or rode up to em as they were fishing. Go figure.

I'm saving that $50/yr from now on. I've caught gill nets in my big prop twice now. Just a couple of weeks ago. I had to back my boat into shallow water, get naked (I was alone) and get in the water and cut that net loose. I was afraid I'd drop my only knife and afraid of mad fishermen if I got caught. Think I fish US water only now.

All the people who have been checked in Mexican waters without a Mexican license have never been heard from again. Get your danged Mexican license or stay the heck out of their country!
