Good job sir.
I had a situation just this past Sunday. Went to Richland chambers after church with a buddy. He was backing in the boat when I hear a splash. I look over to see a man jumping off his boat into the water. His mother had fell trying get in the boat and hit her head on the dock on her way down. He was struggling keeping a float as I ran over and grabbed his mother. We pulled her to safety but she was shook up pretty bad and cold. It all happened really fast.

I am working not far from this creek(and fish it) & saw the Emergency vehicles there on the way home. Gald to hear the gentleman is OK. You were his angel that day. God Bless you both.

Pretty neat. about 10 years ago, before mobile phones went crazy, my FIL and his uncle were fishing lake kickapoo on a real cool and windy day. they were out checking trotlines and kept hearing what they thought was someone yelling for help. Eventually they saw where the cries were help were coming from and found 3 guys sitting in the tree tops of the timber they were fishing when their deckboat had sunk. They took the guys back to the boat ramp and a few months later the corps of engineers sent my FIL some life saver certificate, which was pretty cool.

about 8 years ago took my wife to fayette county, it was January, about 25 degrees that morning and all she did was bitch about how cold it was, I told her to suck it up and be a man and before the words left my mouth her Texas rig hit me upside the head and the hook found my earlobe, (not sure it was an accident) considered tying her to the anchor and give her a shove overboard, but I took her to the boat ramp and made her walk back to the cabin instead so I guess you could say I kind of saved her live that day
