 HDS 7 Insight vs Base map

tried this on the general equipment board with little response
I'm gonna buy a HDS 7.....should I go base map or insight
what are the differences?

I have insight and it is okay, I would get a navionics chip or something like that. It probably has changed but insight didn't have all the lakes i fish.

Insight is just ok. I'd get the basemap and a navionics card.
