Wheeler is tempting but they have rain forecast for Friday/Saturday and Im not real sure how comfortable I am getting rained on in a yak lol. good luck if you make it out there though!

I caught way more fish in the rain. The lake is so clear that rain and clouds really stir them up

everything that i've heard about catching walleyes says bad weather is good walleye weather.

Planning a combination yakfishing/diving trip there as soon as the water warms a bit...not doing drysuits. Keep it in mind, will post up plans when it happens.

if you want to change it to Sunday, I might be there. Family wants to do a picnic on Sunday, i'll see if i can get out of it. I never fished for walleye before so I am definitely motivated! I will let u know tomorrow.

If you want to catch walleye look up the slow death rig and fish it deep near any channel ledges, good luck.

thanks Bert, I will definitely try that out. I will also try the three way swivel with a 2oz and a swim bait or stick bait.
