Fished 3/12 and caught 15+ small lmb. Last two fish were 3.5# and 6.1#. Also caught 6 nice size hybrids. All were in 4-5' next to drops into deeper water. Crank bait and Carolina rig worked the best. Fished the South end of the lake and water clarity was pretty good considering the lake has come up a foot in the last three days. Only 3.4' low now.

Sorry to say I didn't even look at the temp. Beached at the island and let my golden retriever swim and it felt pretty chilly if that helps. The 6.1 had a bloody tail so I'm guessing it is warm enough. Supposed to be in the 80s all week so that should really get things going.

Fished last Sunday afternoon and managed 7 small ones on plastics and spinner baits. All fish in 5' or less. Also missed 3 on a frog in some flooded grass. Anyone else got anything? Heading back out there Sunday to try it again.

Going tomorrow. Lake is rising, only 2.6' low now. Looks almost normal. I'll post when I get back.

Good numbers again today, but only about five that were any size at all. Last fish of the day again was the largest 5.2#. All on CR in 3'-12'. Water was pretty muddy from the rain. As usual the 5-10mph wind turned into 15-20. Ran all the way to the back of Lewis Creek and went under the bridge. First time to do that in a long while. The carp were in there going nuts.
