in an 18 foot boat when the wind is consistently 15mph or more, it's too much.
there will be other days to fish.

I have fished in 30+, but don't necessarily like it. We won our tournament on Sandlin last year with about 25-30 winds out of the north when two back to back cold fronts came through in May.

When do yall think its to windy When you get blown off your boat and the wind pushes the boat away so fast that you are left adrift.

20+ mph but I'm retired and can fish 6 out of 7 days each week, so I can pick the better days to fish,living the dream!!

When I know I would be risking my life or equipment to get to a protected area that I could fish. That being said, I have experienced some good fishing in well protected areas that were safe to get to in winds gusting 35+.

Some think they can fish in anything and mother nature will win one day. But when you look out there and say damn this wind is blowing and taking them over the bow it's time to put it up, I have been in some big stuff on Rayburn and T-Bend but got caught not by choice just use your head.
