I realize this is an unusual request but I need some help to learn my new Skeeter ZX225 and my Lowrance HDS. I need a coach! I will be happy to pay a reasonble fee, buy your lunch, provide snacks and drinks for an open day or half day you might have next week. I have good equipment, all you would have to do is ride along and coach but of course you are welcome to fish.
I have contacted Roy Greer, he is totally booked and don't know of anyone else that will teach me in my boat. Any help is appreciated.
Kevin

Lowrance should have a simulator on their site. Don't just mess with it and think you will remember, spend some real time going over things you know you will use.

I have an HDS 10 on the console and an HDS 5 on the bow. I know how to push the buttons to get the pages I want but hopefully can get some help with the settings and of course there is much to learn. I live on Williams at Lake Fork (spring and fall), fish by myself most of the time and feel like I need to take it to the next level. I just fished Falcon, had a great time, caught some nice fish and learned alot with my guide there so I thought hopefully I could get some help in my boat on Fork.

I did the same with John Tanner. He will charge his normal guide fee but it is worth it.

Thanks -- I am following up. It may be tough this time of year to find someone with an open day but hopefully something will work out.

Bass Chaser, come over to paradise and look up slade(cheese)dougharty or just give me a call when you want to come(214-869-5830). slade is an absolute geek squad candidate for hummingbird or lowrance.we went to the lowrance deal @ hubbard about a month ago and he knew more about my hds than the rep. he is not a guide but I'm sure he would be more than happy to show you and it probably will only cost you a six pack

Ray Vereen goes out with folks in their own boats and can give you all the help your brain can hold on electronics
