Guys I have $90 in Cabela's points and have the field narrowed down to these two reels. I will use it mainly for flippin and pitchin. Can't spend any more right now so please don't say just put $30 w/it and get so and so. powdr

I have a cabelas trail reel. I have the red one. It says quantum burner on the side. I've used it a lot and like it so far. No issues. I have handled the caenan but not fished with it. Seems pretty solid.

I don't know about the other, but the caenan is not bad for the money. If the cabelas reel has an alum. Frame I would go that way.

Good Luck

I have 3 of the caenan reels they are great reels. excellent performance. smooth, quiet just plain excellent reels the drags work so well i can tell if a fish is over two lbs or not, because i have the drag set so that it takes just over a 2 to pull line off.
