I scouted it out today but couldn't find a solid spot that I felt comfortable with. Thought I could try Ten Mile bridge rd but there were locked gates and things didn't look too promising. Is the FW nature center the only place to head up the creek ??

nature center is where ive thought of putting in before.
casino beach, vance's camp and 10 mile bridge just don't seem all that appealing to me.

Get ahold of deerstrangler. He fishes both quite often and can tell ya some good spots.

Ren, on TFF, is also a good resource for info on that particular area (he's been known to pull dodo birds from there, and they've been extinct for millions of years). Recommend you entice him by offering to look for his long lost car keys... bolt

There's no fish there don't waste your time, but if you insist on wasting your time then the fort worth nature center would be the most convenient & safest place to launch from. Good luck!
