There is a guy on the TFF that does fishing trips with fatherless kids. I bet he could use the stuff.

I'm in as well, we have a lot of odds and ends accumulated over the years. I'd be interested in giving a lot of it away to a good organization.

Unfortunately, this is true. frown

I`ll give you a call sometime this week and we`ll try to find a way to get this stuff to you. thumb

Not all of them have a family member that has a boat. And, it's not like they are all showing up in an 2012 $70K boat to fish out of. Some have uncles or relatives that have volunteered to take them out. Some have bass boats that are 25+ years old. My son is taking my boat and sponsoring a couple of girls that don't have a sponsor but want to fish. They have very little fishing equipment. Main thing is they want to fish. And, they are our future of this sport. And believe me if you look at a lot of the youth today, we are headed backwards and God help us. So, when I have 24 kids that say that want to give this a try. I am going to do everything in my power to try to make it happen. Plus, I have two girls right now that don't have a sponsor and are crushed. So I am still looking for a sponsor for them.

If Steve can't help you with a team, either Khristian Salcedo (YoungFisher972) or Alec Castonguay should be able to point you in the right direction. Thanks again, man. Cool thing you're doing.

I made the same conclusion about a month ago. Just haven't had the time to sort thru it all.

I saw your old boat storage this week...I would agree that you have a similar illness!!! LOL!

That is great to hear that it will become a HS sport next year. Is that only in TX, or nationally?

Back to the original observation about having too much tackle.

Remember the Bait Monkey is watching and will require 2 additional items added for each one donated.

Academy is having a sale through tomorrow March 10th.
