I guess I would ask what you want on a graph. The insight does have a lot more detail but if all you are looking for is creek channels and depth for humps you will like the base map the depth lines are five feet on both

I guess I would ask what you want on a graph. The insight does have a lot more detail but if all you are looking for is creek channels and depth for humps you will like the base map the depth lines are five feet on both
I thought the Insight was 3ft? I'm not arguing because I have never looked that close to be honest. My lakes might be HD lakes too so that might make a difference.

The basemap basically shows a big blue area for the lake. Insight is simply a Lowrance Navionics type info. Lake Insight shows all the topo info but in my opinion Navionics is a better product as it is easy to upgrade with different quality/price options. Bottom line -- you will NOT behappy with basemap only. You do not need both Lake Insight and Navionics as they do the same thing. It is like the old Ford or Chevy argument--which is better?
