Do white bass and strippers bite good with cloud cover or even rainy conditions?

Yes, absolutely on stripers. In my experience, stripers especially are sensitive to light conditions. They love cloudy, rainy days. White bass, on the other hand, just about bite anytime and anyplace you find them.

Absolutely they do. get ya a good water proof suit and get out there. Some of the best fishing is in the rain!

Agree, first rain suit I ever purchased was to catch stripers from the bank of a creek in the cold misty weather. Never missed one of those days after that until I had to grow up and get a job.

Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

absolutely! there was a saturday a couple of weekends ago that it was pouring rain and my customers wanted to fish in it. (they were all duck hunters and had the gear) other than the freezing cold fingers, we caught limits of sand bass and hybrid in a little over two hours and took off! i wish it would rain all the time smile ......but i bet my customers don't rolfmao
