The Brazos River Authority advised me that the kill has moved down the river and is near Lake Grandbury. Texas Parks and Wildlife is taking samples and monitoring the kill and river status. Hope it clears up soon.

There were obvious signs of a fish kill in the Horseshoe bend area of the brazos but I saw no signs on the northern end of Lake Granbury at the spot I was at between hwy 377 and hwy 51 bridges.

It is always worse in the cold weather so the rising temps will help some. Granbury has already had one kill back around Christmas. The rain helped end that one before it got to bad. Good news is that the river is pretty resilient and always seems to bounce back pretty quick.

I think Horseshoe bend is above Grandbury, not below PK. Anyone want to clarify that?

That is correct. Anybody been below PK at 16 and seen what it is like since this stuff raised its ugly head again?

I was at the 180 bridge this past Friday and saw lots of dead shad, perch and fry. I then headed up to 16 and waded down to Garland Bend. The flow was very slow and the water was a bit murky but I saw no dead fish.
