Every time i take off of work it rains.Last year when we had the drought and i did not take off. As soon as i took off of work the drought ended. And if i had took off sooner we would not have had a drought last year!!!!

Men have been trying to predict "acts of God" for as long as there have been people on the earth.

In the end, no one is or has been able control the weather except one, and he is not working at the National Weather Service. thumb

Set the hook first, ask questions later!!!

I just dont understand how you say 60% chance of rain when it is raining. Isn't that a 100% chance.

If I was wrong at my job as the weather man/women I would be fired and fishing more.

i thought it did, first soil conditions, then stupid architects(notice i did not say engineers), then mix conditions, then stupid contractors, etc, etc.

Those aren't variables, those are givens! Or known knowns, not unknown knowns. Get it?

If they are always wrong, expect the opposite and all is good.

Had a meteorologist tell me once that when they say 60% that means it is going to rain but only on 60% of the area, 40% likewise. How big is the area.....? confused

I haved learned to ignore all forecasts in the event of a day off work. I cant count the times I have driven to the lake in the rain and within 30 minutes of getting to the ramp it stops. Just go to the lake and if it doesnt clear up enjoy the scenery.
