At our slip they haven't been biting well yet. If we get a lot of rain and cold weather....postpone your trip. The water will turn murky again and their little mouths will close. Water temps need to get up around 60 and they'll move to shallower water for their spawn. That's when you can easily catch your limit. If you do go.. use minners and fish 12-15' of water.

If we get over 1-1.5 inches of rain. Postpone it. The water will be muddy and nothing will be biting.

I would head up Denton Creek for crappie on Grapevine. They are up there right now. I have wore them our the last few weeks. Not many keepers. Usually about 10% will go over 10". Still fun to catch.
