Thanks Mel, ya beat me to it... Jet, I got some bare min-spins from Ronny, and tied up my own version, you can get bare, or you can get em customized from Ronny....

Caught 1 crappie on accident I guess on minnow dough-ball for catfish.

A white Roadrunner will wear them out when they are shallow at times. I have had some great days on Palestine at the dam using these. Throw toward the rocks to about 5ft of water and let it sink close to the bottom and then real it slow and steady. You will catch some pigs. 5 to 10ft seems to be the magic depth. I just try to count it down and reel it a foot or two above the bottom. Try to keep it off the bottom because you will hang up a bunch and catch catfish.

I tied up some tail spinners and while I haven't fished them yet I am pretty excited about them. I am going to try them out at the CAT tourney here in a couple weeks

I even caught some on a Rogue fishing for bass..
