Looks about right. I've got one on my web site that a little girl hooked that was just about as tall as she was and it weighed just a little over 35 so your in there. Congratulations.

Nice fish! I would say pretty close to 30 lbs. but not quite 35. A trophy class fish is in the eye of the angler and the lake your fishing. Depends a lot on the lake's potentional and history of producing big fish. Congrats on a great catch. What lake? This one was 38 lbs.  This one was 22 lbs.

I fish on lake conroe this is the biggest I've caught so far still looking for that trophy. Any suggestions for conroe would be appreciated.

I would say 20+ is a trophy, unless you are fishing tawakoni or texoma, then 20 might be considered average!
