I was going in the morning also but am not going to be able to make it. I sent Sandy an email asking about conditions right now. I do know water is being let out so that is not a good sign. Still, don't let that stop you, there should be some good ones around those slips.
If I can get some plans changed I still might make it. Say hello if you see me... always dressed in Red with a Red cap, that's me. Good luck!

Really? I heard from Sandy today and she said they were biting good. Darn! Guess I will have to go and find out for myself. Maybe I will hit it on a better day.

Yes I went I got there about 6:30am and I left at 11am. I caught 2 dinks and that was it but I probably saw 10 keepers caught by other people. Most fish were caught on minnows I was using jigs. The color of the day was either pink and chartreuse or red head with monkey milk BG. I'm nervous about the spawn for Bardwell with the water level up and down and more rain on the way but we will just have to see I will hold off for another week and try it again.

Slow today only a few keepers.  Some where caght on minnows and jigs
